Proheat’s coiled cable heaters are the ultimate design in coiled type heaters. Their design and technical development gives them a longer lifespan than the competition, due to special features including:

• High temperature connection
• Integrated thermocouple
• Proportioned profile heating

Many of the manufacturing methods and features are proprietary and were developed to give you the most efficient heating possible.

Proheat’s coiled cable heaters are available in several sizes off the shelf, or customized to your order. Due to more durable construction and form fitting shape, our coiled cable heaters outlast the competition.

Ordering Information

To order stock, reference Proheat part numbers. If ordering a custom designed heater previously ordered, please reference the Proheat part number, reference number or 8 digit re-order number.

Manufactured items will require the following information:

  • Voltage
  • Wattage
  • Inside diameter
  • Length
  • Type of sleeving Lead wire length
  • Profile, if required
  • Specify ‘H’ dimension
  • Specify termination type and lead exit type
  • Thermocouple required-type and length
*Note: Drawings are required on all new designs.

 

Special Information

  •  Standard lead wire length is 36”
  • Tooling charge required for a special flattened design other than our stock I.D.’s
  • Special diameters may require a tooling charge
  • Thermocouple junctions cannot be grounded
  • Type ‘K’ thermocouple is available
  • Diameters up to 1” are flattened design, diameters over 1” are non-flattened design
  • Lead wire adder includes ground wire
  • Consult Proheat for special bend configurations or other requirements, tooling charges etc.
